Styles
Ecco makes three different styles in its GTX model. Available in a classic all-black or all-white saddle, these shoes would look at home in a 1930 country club; the World Class City model comes in a bicycle toe style in colors combining black and white, cognac and brown, or white and rustic brown.
Comfort
Ecco is known for making superior comfortable footwear for dress, casual and golf. Made on a comfort-minded wide last and featuring great flexibility in the soles, the Ecco GTX is truly a stylish shoe in which you wouldn't mind walking 36 holes.
Durability
Like any high-end shoe, the Ecco GTX deserves a little maintenance. Simple cleaning after a round will help keep the colors of these shoes vibrant, and paying for a shine in the locker room every once in awhile--or every time you wear them--will keep these shoes performing for seasons.
Materials and Technology
The GTX upper is made of high-performance leather with exotic accents and features a Gore-Tex membrane to keep your feet dry on the dewiest morning or in the heaviest rain. Leather lining adapts to your feet and the removable insole provides comfort and width.
Price
Ecco shoes are not inexpensive and the GTX golf shoe is no exception, retailing for about $430. This is a superior shoe, however, and worth the price if it suits your budget.
