Uppers
The uppers of the Palmares are made from full-grain leather, which is designed to be soft and waterproof. The construction is a dual density that is designed to increase durability and comfort. It also has a traditional lacing system with shoelaces. Palmares have Callaway's RainSport system, which is designed to be twice as waterproof as traditional methods while still allowing air to pass through to keep the foot comfortable.
Insole
The Palmares insoles have Callaway's DrySport moisture management system, which is made of moisture-wicking linings that are designed to draw moisture away from the foot. Combined with RainSport, this is designed to keep your foot dry and comfortable in any playing condition.
Xtra Width Technology
Palmares also have Callaway's Xtra Width Technology (XWT), which allows you to adjust the width of your shoe. Each Palmares shoe has an XWT forefoot pad in the insole, which gives the shoe a wide width. If you need a narrower width, you can easily remove the insert to adjust the width. This is ideal for golfers with feet that are two different widths.
Cleats
The Palmares have oversized Callaway Chevron Comfort Spikes, which feature Dynamic Cleat Technology (DCT) and are attached using the Fast Twist System (FTS). DCT means the cleats will flex with every step, which gives the cleats five times more traction surface than cleats without this technology. These cleats also are designed to wear from the inside out, so they will last longer and the traction will remain more constant. The FTS also allows you to place an asymmetric cleat on the outsole.
Warranty
Callaway guarantees all of its products against defects for two years from the date of purchase. Callaway will repair or replace the product. For Palmares, this two-year warranty also includes waterproofing. Palmares also have a 30-day comfort guarantee.
