Upper Features
The top portion of the Flexor's exterior has printed leather crocodile detailing, which gives it an exotic look. It has a combination of leathers that include Pinnacle, Manhattan, Croco and Lizard. The inside of the Flexor has a textile lining that includes microfiber in the heel, which is designed to give you better grip with your heel so your foot won't slide in the shoe.
Injected Polyurethane
Polyurethane is a synthetic material that is light and stable, and its hardness can be adjusted for different uses. ECCO injects polyurethane into the shoe to connect the upper portion with the sole. This means there is no glue or stitching, which makes it more cushioned and durable. It also gives it a watertight seal that will last longer than a glued seal.
Laces
The laces that come with the Flexor are made from a combination of natural and synthetic fibers that are coated in wax. Unlike typical slippery nylon laces, waxed laces are designed to stay tied.
Sole
The Flexor's insole has vegetable tanned leather in the heel and a Cambrelle brand lining on top of a 3 mm comfort fiber foam pad. The pad absorbs moisture and is treated with AgION, which is designed to reduce bacteria that are the main source of foot odor. The pad also pumps air so it will circulate it around your foot while you walk to keep it cool and dry. The outsole is multicolored and made with a combination of polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane, which is designed to be flexible and durable.
Cleats
The Flexor cleats are Champ Stinger brand cleats with the Q-Lok insert system. Champ Stinger cleats are designed to reduce cleat marks on greens. Champ Stinger boasts superior comfort with its cleats without sacrificing traction. The cleats also have an indicator on them to let you know when you need to change them.
