European Tour Victory

He carded scores of 69, 71 and 68 during the first three rounds of the tournament and pocketed $343,000 for winning the tournament.
Up and Down
Huldahl's first year on the European Tour was in 2004, but he played on the second-tier Challenge Tour during the 2005 season. His first victory on that tour was in 2008, when he was victorious in the Lexus Open. A tenth-place finish on the money list of the Challenge Tour allowed Huldahl to play again on the European Tour in 2009.
Golf History
Huldahl has been playing golf since he was 6 years old. That's when his father took him to a golf club in Holstebro and introduced him to the game. One of his first significant victories was in 2003, just before he turned professional. That victory was at the Danish Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
The Danish Connection
Huldahl's victory at the Celtic Manor Wales Open made him the third Dane to score a victory on the European Tour in 2009. The other two victors were Soren Kjeldsen and Anders Hansen. His golf coaches--Magnus Landstrom, Denmark's national coach, and Landstrom's assistant, Jan Frej--are fellow Danes.
