Early Professional Career
Fasth turned pro in 1993 and until 2000 played on both the European and the second-tier European Challenge Tour. He won four events on the Challenge Tour, but since 2000 has been able to hold his card on the European Tour. He also won the 1993 Swedish Professional Championship.
Recent Professional Career
Fasth's best seasons were 2005 and 2006, during which he won two events each year on the European Tour--the 2005 Duetsche Bank Players Championship of Europe and Holden New Zealand Open, and the 2006 Andalucia Open de Espana Valle Romano and Mallorca Classic. He also won once in 2000 (Madiera Island Open) and 2007 (BMW International Open). He has represented Europe on the victorious 2002 Ryder Cup team and has been ranked as high as fifth on the European Tour Money List. Besides finishing second at the 2001 British Open, Fasth was fourth at the 2007 U.S. Open.
