Golf is the only game that requires proficiency with a wide variety of instruments. While tennis, hockey and baseball allow the athlete to gain familiarity with one tool, in golf, there are 14 clubs in your bag, and you have to be able to hit a number of different shots with each of them. This aspect of the game presents unique challenges--judging turf conditions, carry distances and your own ability, to name a few. But there are some ways to cheat these situations if you know the proper techniques.
